Introduction
Education in the USA represents a difficult theme for illumination as one educational institution can use resources of the several various institutes which are in public and a private property. So, for example, happens that this or that pupil visits the private high school which curriculum should answer the standards established by staff, and some of its courses of exact and natural sciences can be financed from federal funds, and teams have possibility to play the local fields which are in public property.
However, despite this complexity, the American education system gives in to the general description.
The subject of the research is Schooling in the USA.
The research’s topics are US school types, education levels, grading scales and courses; another objective is comparing the American and Russian systems of education.
The aim of the paper is studying and systematizing features of schooling in the USA.
The aim determines the paper’s tasks:
1) to differentiate between the types of schools in the USA;
2) to discover the US school cources;
5) to examine the US grading system;
The paper under consideration has both theoretical and practical value.
Practical value: the results of the research can be used for further exploring the theme "Schooling of the USA".
Theoretical value: the content of the paper can be used in compiling methodological materials for the courses in Country Study, Pedagogy, Methodology and other subjects.
